not so looking forward to the holidays.. dun want to go away for so long

i am getting a little selfish. a little more than i wanted to be.its had affected me.. now i am the one who cant seem to let go.. bleah..

went to watch HAPPY FEET with my dear last night!
a really nice movie. got many funny bit.. but troubled by the impending socialogy exams.. i saw a rather number of themes in the movie. There was the social outcast who could not be accepted by the society simply he was slightly differnt.Judged by the perceptions of others who simply believed that they were the only ones who was right.. the outcast could not belong to that society. the saddest part will be when even when ur loved ones dont accept u for who u are and ask u to be 'normal' to turn away ur talent or love for the most unnatural stuff.. but the sweetest thing was that the outcast never gave up and kept on going.. perhaps thats the hollywood spirit in every movie. not everyone is understood by everyone .eventually, the most unnoticed one will save the day.. a little like chicken little .. or even finding nemo.. ha..

well at the later end of the movie... the whole society is faced with the dilemma to change for the newer trend or start true to the old sayings and culture. individual vs the organisation. the way the society judge pple. how they evaluate people slowly became a way how we evaluate each other.

for example. the sg society judge us by our occupation, education level,where we work. social organisations.. hmm lets just enjoy the movie. enjoy the amigos pple!!

A very nice little excerpt from TUESDAY WITH MORRIE by Mitch Albom

"I heard a nice little story the other day" Morrie says. He closes his eyes for a moment and I wait.

"Okay. The story is about a little wave, bobbing along in the ocean, having a grand old time. He's enjoying the wind and the fresh air - until he notices the other waves in front of him, crashing against the shore.

" ' My god, this is terrible', the wave says 'Look what's going to happen to me!'

"Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave, looking grim, and says to him, ' why do you look so sad?'

"The first wave says, 'you don't understand! We're all going to crash! All of us waves are going to be nothing! Isn't it terrible?'

just that we all have different definations for the word 'pretty' .. to impose one's views on other and keep commenting .. 'thats so.(add any negative word here).. this is so. (add any negative word here)'.. its not anyone in particular.. i use it once in a while too.. and guilty of it...lol... lets just say... need some time getting used to.. perhaps unlike my younger days when i will just pick up a fight with so-and-so and just attempt to explain the politically correct stand. now a days i find it easier to keep quiet.. lol..

exams..!! a time when u feel sian. that the day is coming and ur future depends on a 3 hr paper.. and u feel excited abt the break afterwards. but whileslacking.. i found a fantastic site!!
something for gals like jasmine, shuhui, mel.. (hmm i realise i dun know a lot of gals who wear dresses and skirts!lol..) anyway i like them too.. so wanna share them with u..lol . some are real girly.. most look real nice.. and quite cheap too..lol take a look! if anyone want to buy tell me k.. ha. me considerin...

then after that.. will be flying off to guang zhou for a while with my mom and bro for some visiting.. dates: 16- 24 Dec.. will be back for x mas!!

Ever got so frustrated with urself until u dun know wat to do? like a kid who is forced to make a choice between getting a new toy or going on a holiday.ok bad analogy,but cant seem to find anyway else to put it.
given a choice..(and budget) there are so many things i would want. who wouldnt u would think.. but understanding the reason being needs and desires .. i try to make do with wat i have n wat i have not. making do and being grateful to stuff..

sometimes when giving a choice to having somehing.. i question whether i deserve it..
with nothng much to begin with in the first place..sometimes.. even the smallest stuff are luxury to me..
- being able to go out(doesnt matter where). having great companionship(doesnt matter when), having a new wallet(doesnt matter wat brand), able to oogle at pretty stuff(doesnt matter if i can buy them),eating my fav foods(doesnt matter even if its once in a while), being able to talk to u abt how i feel (happy or sad)and u being there for me always.. i am grateful..

i aint good with words. i aint the type who asks for things..but it so happens tat someone manage to read my mind once in a while and see the stuff i really really really dun mind having (means i really like..lol.. but its just not me to do something abt it). and like a little fairy u fulfil the tiny wishes i have. this got nothing to do with physical items. just that u are everything i always wanted it to be.. really..(except for the million n one pple b4 hand..lol and no chase..)
