cab ride

posted by crazyyuan
it was interesting today.. offically the first day of telemarketing.. a few days i did some callings.. got one lucky newbie appt.. so when i started to day i set a target of three... but sadly.. i din not even reach one.. zzzz

well then its enough of work i headed to jp to have dinner with mel and drew. after which was giant five icecream at scoopz.. and the two setted out combing guadian and ntuc for companies to target for foc goody bag.. pretty hard working.. putting in the best effort i could see..
after which me and mel left for ntu on the cab.. where we had to go thru a journey with the driver who couldnt wait to tell the both of us how many As his son had, what jobs they had.. how early they got it.. how important it was to have As, and how with my lousy Cs and Bs i would most prob end up with merit... no As.. mean i will not be even near second low.. at MOST merit.. i was so amused.. there an uncle was telling me that his accoutant sons have done him v proud and i will def not get my honours...probably i deserve it.. and too i wish i did my parents that proud.. :(

I am certain that your parents are proud of you no matter what you do because you are their baby.

Rather the taxis drivers should speak with circumspection, understanding that his words can be hurtful to people who were not as fortunate as his son to attain As.

Statistically, a large majority of people do not get As but that does not render them any less successful than those who got their As.

The process is important but its the end results that counts. All bosses can appreciate your effort but if you can't deliver, there is no point. His son can be the As collector, just make sure you are the better worker that the bosses like and i am sure you be very much more successful in life than his sons.
