something happened to me.. something i will not call amazing, but v interesting. i was flipping through the papers when i came across an ad on diploma on special education for children with disabilities... that caught my interest and i went abt to research on it. i tried to analyse where this interest came from and could only think of a few reasons.. maybe its the voluneering i have done but stopped at jurong garden sch at minds, maybe its the tv show on channel 8 abt kids with disabilities that affected me v much, how some parents reject their kids, and another type love them so much that their disability simply made their kids more special than different. its weird as i started to think.. maybe i work some more. and go study that course when i have earned enough money.. that i will be a social worker. i noe that its not really that as pretty a picture as on the tv show.. there are many things we do not see on tv. but the enormous satifaction from watching the children is protrayed v well. i would guess thats the sucess of the show, bringing people from their daily lives.. and showing how other people are coping with children that are left behind, but not left out by the society. how wonderful it would be if it happened like this. i see the ad.. i think "this is wat i want to be!" call the ad. take up the program and be a social worker.. if only... never a person whom takes her destiny by her own hands, i wonder if its possible now.. but here is some infomation i found:

as attractive as this path looks attractive to me. i understand the passion must be there.. wat is holding me back now is the passion which i though was there and still there in marketing.. or am i just fickle minded? or is it just a fad in me?. one thing i regret once in a while is not being able to go back to jgs as a volunteer for personal reasons..lol.. perhaps a chance may come again. and i hope real soon :)
