Watched Shrek 2 with eunice just now.. it was really a nice film.. except that i did not quite laugh...
in case some of u guys dun know.. me now working at bee cheng hiang @ sommerset.. the one opp the specalist center.. beside robinson and somewhere next to the OG which is forever closing down sale.. so u guys can imagine.. SALE everywhere now that its shopping season in the Great Singapore sale.. luckily i only work until 4 everyday..haha..so when u guys have any plans on.. still can ask me out.. as long after 4 can lliao.. haha..

like today.. after work.. meet up with gunni whom conincidentally had the exactly the same thoughts as me.. to watch shrek 2.. was thinking of watching also.. but the decision never came so in time.. haha.. or should we say.. very last minute.. as usual..

the movie was nice really.. sounds very fake right?.. if u guys think of watching this movie.. i would say.. u all will enjoy it .. really.. dun noe why.. i dun find things funny nowdays.. except stupid or really really ridiculous things.. i think i can just be the princess in the story who could not laugh.. and my father the king wold marry me off to someone who can actually make me laugh.. haha.. thats funny.. and why do i find that funny?.. maybe because i am laughing at myself.. do i only laugh at pple?...i dun understand.. sometimes i think i do.. when pple are silly.. and i laugh at myself.. cos i am really stupid and retarded to be able to think of ridiculous thngs.. its been a long time since i laughed at a cartoon that was suppose to be funny... i think my brain going all funny.. pun not intended...

anyway.. how come i want to talk abt the movie but i keep diverting... ah.. i want to say.. its really nice.. err.. i think i said it before... its like angela carter... but in pixar movies and a disney mood for kids.. really.. subversion of all fairy tales.. like the princess have to marry a prince charming and live happily ever after.. fiona did marry an orge.. but she also lived happily after.. ah ha... the end is a subversion back to fairy tales.. that there will always be a happy ending... the pussy is so cute!!.. tell u not to judge a person or cat by its looks.. the donkey can be irritating.. but it tells u that friends come in all shape and sizes and manners and it takes a lot not to be irritated by them..
three blind mice.. sleeping beauty.. little red riding hood ..ginger bread man.. three little pigs.. big bad wolf.. fairy god mother..prince charming.. puss in boots. hansel and gretel.. tom thumb and thumberlina..and many many more.. suddenly brought back many memories in me to remind me that i was once also mesmerised by such tales .. although i did not believe in them.. now i suddenly wanted to.. and i did not like the story shrek.. i jus like the plain old happy ever after story.. the movie that twisted ever other story line that i grew up me had me suddenly very protective of the very tales i have grown up with.. how come?.. maybe they were really that influential to me...
