Life sort of settled down lately…had an off day the day before..which prepared me for much more interesting days ahead..
Yesterday was the seventh day of the Chinese new year..or so we call it..the ren ri where its everyone’s birthday and we all eat yu sheng to celebrate..
Me and my relative (my aunt’s granddaughter) jane went back to the bak kua store to luo the yu sheng and stayed to enjoy the lion dance performance which was going around tampines mall including our shop..it was much fun except we hac to wait pretty long for the lion for it was still on its rounds.. mean time..me and jane provided free labour to the shop by helping around..for we simply had nothing to do..the pple there are really nice..even though I have stopped working there I still pop down for a chat occasionally..and of course to collect a few hong baos..really grateful to know the pple there..the aunties hua jie, Pauline jie are all caring to us youngsters and are just like our moms over there..its no wonder many me and jane want to go back there to work after the new year period..but now they are not in urgent require of help..or so they say..they have killed all the flies in the shop..got nothing left to do there except help yourself to the food there and serve customers..

A funny thing happened yesternight at watami restaurant…quite a stupid matter really…which I think show how messy I am really and a girl which have utterly no image to speak of…this was wat happen..i was attending to a grp of 4 ladies sitting in the tatami room..who are terrible unlucky on that day for the sushi chef kept giving them the wrong orders. After a night of kneeling down and occasionally stepping on my own apron strap which is tied at my waist..my apron became loose and slipped of while I was walking across the room..lucky..there were only 4 ladies and one gentlemen in the room who noticed…and of course..they bursted out laughing immediately..(luckily the boss and the manager did not see the sight..but I think they hear the roar of laughter which rang through out the restaurant..)the customers were amused and I was of course a little embarrassed ..not that I apron slipped down..but I made a fool of myself..but I calmly stepped out of the apron and walked toward the ladies’s table who are already half in tears..and I joked…but which was half the truth..that I have not eaten that’s why the apron slipped down..and just when I was trying to fold my apron neatly to put at the side so that I can serve them their stuff..my handphone dropped out with a loud thup on the wooden tatami floor and sent all of them rolling into laugher again..i think they never see pple drop their handphone before…lastly when I was was about to leave I stood up with my half folded apron in my hand and was asked jokingly ‘ do u have anything else to drop? ‘ and unexpectedly..my comb ..the one which have a long sharp handle dropped onto the tatami floor again and i think they all nearly died laughing..ok. .something like that…cos I just hurried out quickly...but at least they were in a better mood then before when we served them the wrong dish…
So…that was yesterday..from now onwards..i will tie my apron on tightly…to all doing waitressing jobs…let this be a lesson..haha..a funny one too..luckily my captain and manager didn’t scold me after the incident…lucky…: P

Just received a call from shiwei to tell me that I am on off today ..just great..you only tell me that I have my off day on the very day..then how am I suppose to make any plans?..ok..watever..maybe I will find something to occupy myself with later..

Ok..some pple may know liao..me MAY be getting two part time jobs at the same time..i sounds like a totally crazy idea…to me even..but hey..crazyyuan is stupid enough to think that she can make it..if there are no other plans..most prob me will be working at bee chang hiang from 10 to 4.15 and then at watami from 6 to 12…sounds quite fun to me really..cos I dun want to be loitering around at home doing nothing waiting for time to pass..waiting to go to work..i think I have wasted enough time liao..time to waste more maybe..time to make me realize that making myself feel worthy of the world is not that much important as spending more time with your family and friends..maybe by tiring myself out..which is highly not possible..cos both job is super slack….i will learn more stuff..like how to better organize my time be nicer to pple I do not know but I meet everyday and be even nicer to pple I know whom I meet everyday…whatever..if u find me walking around listless and confused arounf raffles city or tampines mall..dun worry..me just trying to find the exit of the building..trying to find my way out of the building..find out the meaning of working life..find out the meaning of life..

have u guys got lots of hong baos?..me havent.but its okay..cos me now working..me got new job!! let me tell u all abt it..

okay..basically the place is a japanese restaurant called watami resturant,situated at singapore recreation club..quite a posh place i must say..no sushi belt..but got a tatami room..the place only sits about 30-40 pple..quite pathetic i think..but gd for waitress like us..dun need to go boggy over serving too many pple..

now me working with shiwei and andy..the guy who introduced me to the job..my sec sch classmates as well..very nice guys..very hardworking as well..always looking very busy i must say..which is quite hard to do as the rest. sometimes just empties out and there is no one to serve and nothing to tend to..
when pple enter the rest ..we are suppose to shout something..like 'welcome' in japanese.me have practiced it a thousands times..but me still cannot remember what me suppose to say.when pple come in..so me just keep mum and smile at whoever enters..and of course..have to say..arigato gozaimas-ta..or something like that when they leave..quite interesting..but usually i just busy myself to clearing their plates...but i must say..this job quite slack..really..80 percent of the time u ae standing at a corner waiting..for something to happen..then the rest 20 percent u are rushing around to clear plates, refill cups of hot tea..serve stuff..take orders..wipe tables..tending to fussy customers wants their food more quicky..and those who just want more soya peas (eda mame)..saying welcome and thank you and figuring out wat the difference between a set meal and a bento set and what are stuff like tempura moriawase or ika shioyaki..
but all in all..its fun..cos u are working with friends..and the place is small..quite cosy..but a bit squeezy..and cannot eat and of the stuff..can only look...but drinks are free flow..refering to coke soda..lemon tea and sprite..

yap..thats about my latest job..sounds not very cool i know..today my first day of work..quite fun..but the nicest was when u look out of the balcony..there right in front of u is the surbondinate court, the padang, fullerton hotel and all the other tall beautiful bulidings that look even nicer on a drizzling night...

Helloo everyone.. today is chinese new year eve..me just finished my reunion dinner with my family..how about u guys?..anyway..about the visiting for the girls har..i actually said u all are invited to my house on sat right?..now that I know ying ling and Eunice are working on that day..i propose we settle the date on another day…or go eat somewhere near their work place at marina square..fast food also can..or magic wok again…me dun mind going there again really..hehe..

Today is also my last day of work at the bak kwa shop ..or so to say..me not really sure cos when the supervisor asked me whether I wanted to continue to work..me said no immediately..but then when I reached home..my mom was like..why quit the job..should continue if u can..cos after CNY..work load will be lighter..a lot lighter…and some more so near the home also..no need transport fees…so I went to sms the boss to ask him whether I could continue working..and he promised to give me a reply on sat..oh well..now..i will just have to wait..me either end up still selling bak kua or finding another job…

Sometimes I just wonder ..
if all working life is like this..worst still if it’s a 9-5 job..u wake up to go to work in the morning..and when u reach home at night..u are too tired to even read the papers..maybe just take a shower and go to bed..lucky…theres no homework ..hehe..

but of course my work is not so bad..the horrible times only comes when there is no one to serve and u are left to look at one another and talk crap..and when the supervisor is around ..let me explain..in the shop..i usually stand at the counter to pack the bk..cos its quite slack..but the thing is I can only do it when the supervisor is not around cos he claims himself to be the fastest packer…which I do not agree with him cos he is super egoistic..and a super rude person…and I am usually left to insert the packed stuff into paper and plastic bags…and I often get glared from him cos I cannot remember the orders when they do NOT bother to tell me as they can expect me to hear everything the customer says from like 1 meter away under all the chaos..ok..i am grumbling..just complaining.. every job have its ups and downs…and only pple in same situation will understand.. and then another thing is the working hours..and lunch hours..sian..when I still find amusing at times..cos when u are in the basement for more then like 10 hours a day and have no fixed lunch hours..u dun really noe when u meal hours are..nor can u estimate wat time of the day is it..for example yesterday..i have noe idea what we were buzy about but I missed my lunch and dinner and realized it only at about 9pm…and well there are also some good points about the job other then getting free bk to eat every now and then…can have friends pop in to visit once in a while..to my record..got kiadai, shuhui, joan, Eunice, yingling, Cheryl,jovin, jac, kat, xuemei pop in for a small chat…which is nice..except u all can see that I cannot chat when we are all buzy..but I love to see u all again really!and of course how can I forget this..when u stand at the counter u can feast your eyes on all the yan dao guys that walk past..for example the young chef at breadtalk that talks in a super funny way:’come bread hot hot bread come..’ and a very clean look ntuc promoter that aways walk pass our shop with out failing to look in…
ok .just some stupid stuff to spice up my blog...have to go eat lunch liao..today working at 2-12..seeya pple around!

will be going to work at 1200 so here i am updating myself and my friends on my life

today is wednesday..must keep track..or else i dun know wat kind of life i am living everyday..
next wednesday is chinese new year liao..so fast..and as the day near..i predict i will become more busy.
sometimes, it just feels good to feel useful, or in other words ..to be wanted..sian..very often when one is left with no task to accomplish..a sense of unworthiness sets in...thats for my case..so i like to be busy busy busy...

went to 4k chalet on ....cannot remember which day..had quite come fun i think..at least i got to catch up on some friends like yingling, rachel , jovin , andy, des and shiwei..bascially everyone have not changed much..most guys became taller and gals became prettier :P and or course..the guys..their way of speaking never changed much..they still have vulgaries coming out of their mouths everyother sentence..
and some thing nice happen..i think..supposely one guy (cannot remember how to spell his name )told the pple that he had a crush on me before i went to the bbq..which i think was quite interesting..cos me have never spoke a word to him before ..and to think of mentioning this matter after two years of leaving ahs and still being shy about it...hmm..i dun really think i understand guys..

another funny matter..jovin came to my shop in the afternoon with her cousin...the funny thing was that when she stepped in and stood in front of me (when i was not noticing).almost all my colleugues at the counter gasped...for supposedly..she was like my twin..haha..jovin..i have to let u know..one of the guys at the shop admired your big beautiful eyes so much that he immediately asked me to introduce you to him after u left..while others debated on who was prettier u or your cousin..ya..so when u are free..do drop by..at least that will make the boring hours there more interesting..

haha..hello everyone again..now is 12.56am..should be sleepiing..but cannot cos my hair still wet..so..must write blog..cos long time never update liao..

met up with the gals on monday for dinner to catch up and also celebrate rosie'd birthday..suppose to be at breeks..but the outlet not halal..wah..had such a hard time trying to sneak rosie;s birthday cake around..but then, we still gave her a surprise at magic wok..must say..the food there not bad..dun mind going there again next time guys?..haha..maybe after a movie:P

met quite many friends at work today..ok..some came to find me...ying ling , enuice and joan stopped by to say hi..eat some bak kua and talk crap..was glad to see u all really! a fresh sight from all the aunties and ah peks and little babies...shuhui and her aunt came in the afternoon to buy stuff ..i think..me really not sure..cos when u are in the basement for half the day..it doesnt seem to be different whether it was night or morning cos there is either noone or a lot of pple..ok..me talking crap...saw pei wen also..she got buy some pies ...yeah..thats my day today..u guys have seen me at work liao..its either standing outside the shop giving samples or at behind the counter packing bags of bak kua or taking and packing stock...it used to be worst...cos when pple wanted to take the bk overseas..we had to fan the hot bk cool...which is super stupid..cos u will see a a pair of hands frantically flapping to cool rows of pipping hot bk..a stupid job i say...ok enough of bk..i eat a minimum of 150gs a day..see it become sick liao..dream also dream of bak kua...but haiz..that the job..noe eunice and yingling got waitressing job..u go gals! see yah all super soon ok?

Hello everyone!! Happy new year firstly!
How are all of you? Haha..me now just came back from work, very, very tired, but I am making myself sit in front of the computer too write my blog, cos I have been so buzy..haven been keeping in contact with all of you although I really wanted to….fighure..must do something about it..

So here’s my story…me got a new job! Haha…me now working at Mei Zheng Xiang Bak Kua Store the outlet at tampines..which outlet.i leave for u to figure out..if u do find me hanging around can come down and visit me once in a while!..haha..at least until lunar new year..
Basically me quit the pathetic job at noel international..the hamper wrapping one after working for like about ..3 days…which I earn about 1.5 bucks per hamper..which I can at most pack 2 per hour..so ….my lovely cousin pulled me into the shop to do part-time ..sianz..i shall not bore u with any boring details about the job… I sort of have a lot of things to say ..but I dun noe how to to say and where to start..lets just say me miss all of u. me now working at the bak kua shop.10am to 10 pm..everyday return home dead tired lor…me even got jaw locks while yawning in the morning for talking too much when trying to promote the bak kua pies…and my legs…one word...stiff…not trying to complain. Cos I understand everywork have it pros and cons and the good thing about this job is I can eat as much bak kua as I like!..haha..of couse in small proportions lah..but still can eat until u dun want..haha..but me got sick of the tradional bak kua in like..2 days…the bak kua pie in one day..still eat ing the best and most expensive one…the gourmet bak kua.!! Everyone must try when u have a chance ok?..it taste like heaven..and do u know why?. Cos its fatty..it looks like bacon..only bak kua style..and its sinful to eat at lot..50 bucks per kg..most pple only buy like 100g to eat for fun..with is only a few mouthful..but really damn satisfying…fats can make one feel so good..u have to try it out your self to know..
