second life and gopets

i wonder how many pple have heard of Second Life here.. as popular as blogs in singpaore, second life is a virtual game where pple could have avatars and explore a virtual world. not to mention, create a business, make $$ off the virtual world.
and while surfing around today i saw something interesting.. Global community pet game. Gopets.. here is a screen shot. wat is the world wide web coming too? virtual worlds for humans.. now pets...
